How do I prepare my files for Board Game Manufacturing Print Production Services? What file formats are needed?

Choose from the options below:
• EPS (or AI) in CMYK color mode, 100% in size with crop marks & fold marks (CorelDraw!, Freehand, Illustrator). EPS files should have fonts converted to curves/outlines.

• TIF in CMYK color mode, 300 dpi, 100% in size with crop marks & fold marks (PhotoPaint, PhotoShop, other). For optimal quality, TIF files should not have fonts smaller than 8pt. text.

• PDF in Press Ready format, 100% in size with crop marks & fold marks (PhotoPaint, PhotoShop, other)

NOTE: Some delays in the project may occur if submitting files in formats other than EPS or TIF. If you are using photos in your design, please save the final version in TIF as Illustrator does not handle photos well. PDF’s do not always print accurately.

A minimum bleed of 0.25" on all sides is suggested for all artwork (0.5” for the box which should be one flat image for the box top and one separate flat image for the box bottom).   Keep all important information within the artwork outside the bleed area. Cards should be separate files/pages, with crop marks outside the 0.25" bleed area.

We will provide you with FREE templates for your project with the deposit.
